Learning Spanish Like Crazy Review

Overview

A program that will teach you Spanish and make you sound like an authentic Latin American Spanish Speaker, Learn Spanish Like Crazy offers a practical and useful way to become bilingual. You get lessons from both an educator and a common person allowing you an understanding of both. This can be done at a natural pace with no need for memorization, drills or exercises.

Who's Behind the Product?

Patrick Jackson started out as one of those people who had wasted money on so many books and programs that promised to teach you Spanish but he never really learned. That is until he got hold of a program developed by the USA Foreign Service Institute which is a sector of the Department of State to train their employees. Today he has made Learning Spanish Like Crazy available to anyone who wants to learn this language quickly.

What You Get

The whole system of Learning Spanish Like Crazy starts with fifteen audio CDs which is thirty lessons in all. This also has transcripts which you can read in PDF format. The other things included are: 15 CDs of FSI Programmatic Spanish 1, 12 CDs of FSI Programmatic Spanish 2and 6 CDs of FSI Fast Course Spanish. You also get a bonus gift of "Los Dichos" and "Los Insultos - No Vulgares" which are common words and sayings used. Another bonus gift is "Los Insultos - Vulgares" or insults that will help you recognize derogatory terms in case someone uses them on you. You also get a lifetime access to Spanish instructors and the LSLC message board.

Why I Like It

One thing that stands out about the language learning program is that it has been in use for many years by professionals who work for the government. It gives you an authentic Latin American accent since it was made by actual people from these places. The method used to teach makes learning both fun and easy plus the audio based lessons make for an effective teaching technique.

Why I Don't Like It

While this program does include transcripts for you to read, it does not have any activities. There are some people who still prefer to have some actual exercises done to make sure that they are going about things correctly. If you are one of those people who like double checking what you learn through written application this may not work well for you.

Conclusion

Whether you're looking travelling to a place where Spanish is spoken or have friends that are Spanish speaking or just want to learn the language I would strongly recommend Learning Spanish Like Crazy to you. It is a quick way to learn a new language that has both lessons on everyday words and sentences plus a bonus on handy words such as curses and common sayings.
